NJ Commercial Condensing Boiler Upgrade

Project Overview

A New Jersey commercial facility modernized its aging boiler system with a Parker oil-fired condensing boiler and Siemens LMV3 combustion controls to improve reliability and reduce fuel consumption.

ICA assessed the existing system's load patterns and hydronic temperatures, verified venting and condensate handling requirements, coordinated with the installing contractor on combustion air and flue routing, and confirmed mechanical room layout and clearances. After installation, ICA performed burner startup, control parameter configuration, and trained plant staff on setpoints, trending, and alarm handling.

The upgrade delivered smoother modulation with fewer on/off cycles, more consistent heating performance, improved part-load efficiency, and enhanced operational visibility for plant staff through the Siemens controls platform.
