Brookdale Community College Central Plant
Project Overview
ICA furnished and installed a complete fabricated hydronic heating system for Brookdale Community College's central utility plant in Lincroft, NJ. The system features eight Patterson-Kelley MACH C3000 high-efficiency cast aluminum condensing boilers with a custom PLC-based control panel, serving the entire campus.
Since the initial startup in 2011, ICA has provided routine annual preventive maintenance to keep the system running at peak performance. The boilers have logged nearly 330,000 combined run hours with an average of 17.5 run hours per ignition cycle — a testament to proper sizing, controls programming, and ongoing maintenance. The system operates at 90% low-fire efficiency settings, maximizing fuel savings across variable campus heating loads.
